The Royal Logistic Corps (RLC) was formed on 5 April 1993 by the union of five units: Royal Corps of Transport, Royal Army Ordnance Corps, Royal Pioneer Corps, Army Catering Corps and Postal & Courier Service. The RLC is the largest Corps in the British Army! They are a very professional, versatile and diverse organisation with technically qualified soldiers working in both peacetime and on operations, providing essential constant support, sustaining units by land, sea and air. The Royal Logistic Corps motto is “We sustain”.
The ‘Royal Logistic Corps Tartan’ is the only officially registered tartan in the world, to honour The Royal Logistic Corps. And is fully endorsed by The Royal Logistic Corps.
