Our Suffragette Tartan is of the highest quality, it is the same top-notch fabric as used in our kilts and garment making, which is 13oz medium weight 100% wool, made from hard-wearing worsted.
This Suffragette Tartan is woven in double width, being 140cm wide (55 inches) and sold by the metre.
Ideal for bespoke personal projects, garment-making, bunting, room décor items for special life events, table runners and table cloths for lovely afternoon teas with fabulous female friends and much more! It is also used widely as a home furnishing fabric, adding Suffragette heritage to your home. Perfect for revamping chairs and sofas, curtains, cushions and all manner of homeware accessories.

We have created this exclusively for you by weaving the DNA of the Suffragette into its very core, by incorporating these significant colours:-
GREEN, WHITE & VIOLET: Are the historical colours of the Suffragette. The first letter of each colour ‘G’ ‘W’ ’V’ represented their goal, to ‘Give Women the Vote’.
